Privacy Policy

RiseMemo does not collect your data. There is no account, no login and no server. Your recordings, your imported audio and your alarms stay on your device. We cannot see, hear or retrieve any of them.
What stays on your device
- Voice recordings you make in the app.
- Audio files you import from your device.
- Your alarms — times, labels, repeat days and settings.
- App preferences, such as your default sound and whether you have unlocked Pro.
All of this is written to RiseMemo's private storage area on your phone. It is never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes all of it permanently.
Microphone
The microphone is used for one purpose: recording a sound when you tap record. Recording only happens while that screen is open and you have started it. Audio is saved directly to your device and is never transmitted anywhere. You can revoke microphone access at any time in your system settings; the rest of the app keeps working, and you can still import audio files.
Notifications
RiseMemo schedules local notifications on your device so an alarm can still reach you when the app is closed. These are created and delivered entirely by your phone. No push server is involved and no device token is sent to us.
Sharing a sound
If you choose to share a sound, your phone's own share sheet sends the audio file to whichever app or person you pick. RiseMemo does not upload it, keep a copy, or learn who you sent it to. What happens to the file afterwards is governed by the app or service you shared it with.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. The store tells the app only whether a valid purchase exists, so it can unlock Pro features; the app records that yes-or-no answer locally. Billing questions, cancellations and refunds are managed through your store account.
Analytics and advertising
There are none. RiseMemo contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no tracking pixels and no third-party trackers. We do not build a profile of you and there is nothing to sell, because nothing is collected.
Children
RiseMemo is not directed at children under 13, and because it collects no personal data it does not knowingly collect anything from anyone of any age.
Your rights
Regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete personal data held about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to return or erase. Your own data lives on your device and is entirely under your control: delete individual sounds and alarms in the app, or remove the app to erase everything.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
